    Function components cannot be given refs

    Hello, I am trying to render a Navbar Item as a NavLink component from react-router-dom (i.e. <Navbar.Item as={NavLink}> ... </Navbar.Item>).

    I am using React Hooks so my entire Navbar component is a functional component. I'm not sure if this is a problem on my end or a problem with Navbar.Item.Container or Generic.

    This warning does not come up when using NavLink by itself.

    Customization example does not work for all elements

    Hello,

    I tried out the customization instructions provided in the docs. However, the new react color works on a notification element but does not work on a button element as described in the docs.

    My typescript still complains that Type '"react"' is not assignable to type '"link" | "primary" | "success" | "info" | "warning" | "danger" | "light" | "dark" | "white" | "black" | as shown below: Screen Shot 2019-04-04 at 12 42 54 AM

    Here is my react-app setup. Would love to know how to get this to work properly.

    Hi, I was using many RBX UI comonents in a CMS, with Next.js 7 After upgrading to Next.js to version 8, all the components from RBX are giving error.

    ./components/Header.js Attempted import error: 'Navbar' is not exported from 'rbx'.

    This is my import in the page: import { Navbar } from 'rbx'

    Do you have any solution for this, or a fix for it in a next release?

    [Question]Button with icon having onClick issues?

    When I add an icon on a Button having a text and I click on that icon while clicking the button, I cannot get the text value in e.target.textContent.

    I get the path of SVG in e.target but I need the text of that button.

    How do I get the value of text in button even when I click the icon in that button? Is this a bug? Or is there some other way which I am missing?

  • Replace use of Partial types with optional properties

    Replace use of Partial types with optional properties

    When using a Jetbrains IDE like IntelliJ/WebStorm, imported components from rbx all seem to trigger warnings from the IDE inspection that checks for missing required attributes/props (on XML/HTML/JSX elements). Disabling this inspection is not desirable as it stops the IDE warning us in real situations where we are actually missing required attributes/props.

    This seems to be due to the use of the Partial type in most component props and the IDE not being able to identify these props as optional. This also has an additional effect of causing imported components to autocomplete with all of these optional props pre-filled with placeholders (as if they were required).

    Unfortunately, this is a bit of a blocker to using rbx as this makes it quite unfriendly to use in Jetbrains IDEs. Whilst this probably should be something that Jetbrains should improve, it is probably simpler for rbx to just replace its usages of Partial with optional properties. I would also personally say it's clearer than using Partial everywhere as well (although that's more of a taste thing).
